Wall Street Chinese (WSC) is a boutique Chinese business training & consulting company. It was founded in January 2009 in New York City. WSC provides Mandarin Chinese language and Business Chinese Communication training, Chinese art & cultural training as well as Chinese business consulting services to enhance the efficiency of communication, business transactions and relationships between the East and the West.

WSC provides a unique artistic learning environment on Wall Street in the heart of financial district of NYC that reflects our philosophy of combining language, international business culture and art together. Helen (Hanying) Liu - China Expert and Consultant

Ms. Helen (Hanying) Liu is an experienced business executive and consultant with extensive experience in a wide variety of fields including finance, business formation and registration, education, training, recruitment and contemporary art.

Ms. Liu’s previous experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant with Lake Pointe Partners LLC and as Associate Director – Business Development for AFG Trust, a Shanghai-New Zealand based Private Bank and Asset Management Company that caters to high net worth individuals in the performing and fine arts. At Lake Pointe, a Chicago and Shanghai based boutique consulting firm, she participated in a variety of complex consulting engagements for US clients in China including business formation and Human Resources. At AFG Trust she assisted their “Excellence Foundation”, generating sponsorships and staging events and productions by famous artists and performers blending fine arts, music, auctions, art galleries, museums, movie/TV production, and fashion in China. Previously, she was an independent Business Consultant involved in market research, strategy and business development, mergers and acquisitions, and operations and staffing in several business sectors in China including manufacturing, education, on-line financial training courses, and international education programs.

Her finance career includes service in Hong Kong as Finance Manager for a large British Engineering Consulting firm, as a Business Consultant–Finance and Marketing for a Singapore-based holding company and as a Staff Accountant in Chicago for a large hardware retailer and a large insurance conglomerate.

Ms. Liu holds a Master of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business English from Wuhan University in Wuhan, P.R. China. She is fluent in English and Mandarin, and has lived and traveled extensively in Asia, North America and Europe.
